The orchestrator
The orchestrator breaks a goal down and hands each piece to the right specialist. Everything can be read in a single conversation. For a simple task, address the specialist directly: it is more economical.
- Open Vue d’ensemble (Overview) (
Ctrl+2). - Click Démarrer avec l’orchestrateur (Start with the orchestrator), or Reprendre avec l’orchestrateur (Resume with the orchestrator) if it has already worked. Its last conversation opens, or a new one if it has none.
- Check that the mode is Agent: Ask and Plan do not delegate.
- Describe your goal and send. No call to the AI is made before this message.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”The usual sequence:
- The orchestrator inspects the project and publishes a plan.
- It gives each specialist a precise mission, with one to three Skills.
- The specialist reads what came before in the conversation and receives your attachments, then works.
- It hands back with a report, which the orchestrator reads before continuing.
- The orchestrator concludes and notes the remaining work in the To-Do. These missions do not start by themselves.
A report says what the agent observed. It is not proof: check in UEFN and test in game.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”- An Orchestrateur → Verse Coder card (Orchestrator → Verse Coder) for each mission, with its title. Mission confiée (Mission assigned) shows its text.
- The agent’s name and mascot on each message, then a line “Verse Coder rend la main à Orchestrateur” (Verse Coder hands back to the Orchestrator).
- Above the message box, the agents at work and their status: Délégation en cours (Delegation in progress), Outil en cours (Tool in progress), Validation attendue (Approval pending)…
- In Vue d’ensemble › Plan et comptes rendus (Overview › Plan and reports), the plan and the reports of each agent.
Delegating does not open a new conversation.
The limits
Section titled “The limits”| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Delegations per request | 3 by default, from 1 to 12: Délégations maximum par demande (Maximum delegations per request), in the orchestrator’s profile |
| Delegations in a single step | In parallel, one per specialist. A task that depends on a report waits for the next step |
| A specialist’s tool steps | 8 per pass, with an automatic continuation as long as it makes progress, up to 5 passes |
| The orchestrator’s steps | Those of its profile, plus 2 per authorised delegation |
| Chained delegation | Impossible: a specialist does not delegate |
A specialist keeps its own rights. If it has a specific model, it uses it. On Automatic, it takes the provider, the model and the effort of the orchestrator’s conversation.
Each specialist uses your quota, on top of the orchestrator. A limit being reached is not a success: see Resume after an interruption.
Answer a specialist
Section titled “Answer a specialist”When a specialist needs you, a message appears above the message box: “Verse Coder vous demande : …” (Verse Coder is asking you: …).
- Check the recipient: Répondre à Verse Coder (Reply to Verse Coder) is selected. If several specialists are waiting, choose yours.
- Write your reply and send. The specialist continues its mission.
The orchestrator picks up again by itself once this work is finished. To talk to the orchestrator, first click Écrire à Orchestrateur (Write to Orchestrateur). If the specialist is interrupted after your reply, Reprendre appears next to its name.
A specialist’s approval requests are answered in the same place, at its name.
The square in place of the send button stops the orchestrator and its specialists. To stop just one agent, select it in the Activité (Activity) panel, then click Arrêter cet agent (Stop this agent).
Refusing a specialist’s approval request stops the orchestration: “Action du spécialiste refusée. L’orchestration s’arrête sans autre appel d’outil.” (Specialist action refused. The orchestration stops with no further tool call.)
