UEFN recipes

A recipe is an optional guided walkthrough for a specific task. A Skill explains reusable know-how; a recipe organises how it is applied. Your agents also work very well from a simple request.

Open Outils UEFN › Recettes (UEFN tools › Recipes). The Recettes UEFN (UEFN recipes) page can be read even without a project. Filter with Rechercher… (Search…) or the Tous les sujets (All topics) list.

Recipe Goal
Diagnostiquer la connexion UEFN (Diagnose the UEFN connection) Identify the open project and the accessible capabilities, read-only
Réparer un fichier Verse (Repair a Verse file) Fix a limited error with an observed compilation, three attempts at most
Configurer les points d’apparition (Configure the spawn points) Prepare a controlled, readable spawn
Créer une boucle de manche et de score (Create a round and score loop) Define start, score, end and reset
Préparer une progression sauvegardée (Prepare a saved progression) Create a progression compatible with the project

Each recipe page lists its Prérequis (Prerequisites), its Déroulement (Steps), its Contraintes (Constraints), its Outils et connaissances (Tools and knowledge) and an Exemple (Example).

The À valider sur votre version UEFN (To validate on your UEFN version) label appears on all the recipes: they are not guaranteed for your editor.

  1. Select a recipe, then click Utiliser dans l’atelier (Use in the workshop).
  2. Island Pilot goes back to the Workspace, in the open conversation. If there is none, it creates one.
  3. The message box is pre-filled with the recipe and its example, on the Mon objectif (My goal) line. This text replaces whatever you had already typed.
  4. Replace the example with your goal.
  5. Check the mode, then send.

Nothing is sent without you. Without a project, the button is greyed out: Créez un projet pour utiliser cette recette. (Create a project to use this recipe.)

The conversation’s profile must be able to read the recipe (Lire les recettes (Read the recipes), in the Outils (Tools) tab of its page) and load the Skills it cites. The agent checks the prerequisites and asks you for what is missing.

  • It grants no rights. A step that modifies the island requires Agent mode.
  • It does not wait for your agreement between steps. Some steps mention approval: in Agent mode, the agent only stops for a call that requires confirmation, or if it asks you a question.
  • It does not test the game for you. The in-game test steps remain your responsibility.
  • It cannot be modified: the app has no recipe editor. For a method of your own, create a Skill.
