Withdrawal and refunds

This page summarises what the terms of sale say. It does not replace them: only the terms of sale are authoritative.

In principle, a consumer has 14 days to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance. There is an exception for digital content supplied without a physical medium, provided for by article L. 221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code.

Island Pilot falls within this exception. On the payment page, you can only pay after ticking the box by which you request immediate performance and expressly waive your right of withdrawal. The confirmation email repeats this.

The details are in the Right of withdrawal section of the terms of sale.

SAUL CORP offers no commercial refund guarantee. A simple change of mind does not entitle you to a refund. The order is firm and final, subject only to the rights that the law grants to consumers.

It is separate from the right of withdrawal and applies even after you have waived it.

  • If the software does not work as intended for you, SAUL CORP repairs it, free of charge.
  • If repair is impossible, refused, too late or ineffective, or if the defect is serious, you get a price reduction, or you can end the contract and be fully refunded.
  • You have two years from the supply of the software to use it.

To use it, write to contact@saulcorp.com describing the defect you found. The full legal text, including the guarantee against hidden defects, is in the Legal guarantee of conformity section of the terms of sale.

  1. First send your complaint in writing to contact@saulcorp.com.
  2. If it does not succeed, you can refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator, MEDCONSODEV, within one year of your written complaint.

See the Complaints and mediation section of the terms of sale.

If you pay in 3, the instalments, how they are collected and any late payments are Klarna’s responsibility.

Businesses do not have the right of withdrawal. Consumer rules apply to them only in the cases provided for by law.
