Organise your inspirations

Tendances Maps (Trends Maps) is a library that you fill and sort your own way. This page explains folders, notes, tags and adding your own cards.

The library is the same in all your projects. Your folders, notes, tags and analyses stay in place when you switch projects, and even when you delete one.

Open a card, then scroll down to Classer dans la bibliothèque (Sort into the library).

Field Role
Dossier (Folder) Puts the card in a folder, or Sans dossier (No folder).
Statut (Status) À découvrir (To discover), Ma sélection (My selection) or Archivée (Archived).
Tags Separated by commas, 12 at most, 32 characters each. Click Enregistrer les tags (Save the tags).
Vos notes (Your notes) 4,000 characters at most. Click Enregistrer la note (Save the note). The text appears on the card.

The left column filters the view: Découvrir (Discover) (everything except archives), Ma sélection, Archives, then Dossiers partagés (Shared folders).

On a card, the bookmark icon adds or removes Ma sélection, and clicking a tag filters the view on that tag. Right-clicking also offers Modifier la note et les tags (Edit the note and tags), Archiver (Archive) and Restaurer (Restore).

  1. In the left column, click Nouveau dossier (New folder).
  2. Write its Nom du dossier (Folder name), 80 characters at most.
  3. Click Enregistrer (Save).

Right-clicking a folder offers Renommer le dossier (Rename the folder) and Supprimer le dossier (Delete the folder). Deleting a folder keeps its cards, notes and analyses: only the sorting disappears.

Without a folder, a card is refreshed, but it keeps your notes, your tags, its status and its analysis.

  1. Click Ajouter une inspiration (Add an inspiration).
  2. For a game, an article or a YouTube video, paste the address into Lien (facultatif) (Link (optional)). For a free-form card, leave this field empty.
  3. If you pasted an address, click Récupérer (Fetch). The title, description and thumbnail fill in when the site provides them.
  4. With Choisir une image (Choose an image), add a PNG, JPEG or WebP image if needed.
  5. Complete Titre (Title) (required, 180 characters), Description, Tags, Vos notes and Dossier.
  6. Click Enregistrer la fiche (Save the card).

Your cards are never refreshed. Modifier la fiche (Edit the card) and Supprimer cette fiche (Delete this card) only apply to them.

If the site gives no readable title, Island Pilot asks you to add the card by hand. Only public HTTPS links are accepted: local or private addresses are refused.

You cannot delete a card that comes from a source. To remove it from your view, use Archiver.

If an island has no thumbnail, or if you prefer another one, click Choisir une miniature (Choose a thumbnail). The statistics and your sorting are kept. The image must stay under 1 MB: an image of more than 500 KB is reduced automatically.
