Noteboard
Noteboard (Ctrl+9) is a free space for your game idea: a notepad and, beside it, an infinite canvas. A project can have several.
Create a Noteboard
Section titled “Create a Noteboard”- Open Noteboard.
- Click Créer un Noteboard (Create a Noteboard), or the + of the Noteboards list.
The right-click menu on a Noteboard offers Renommer… (Rename…), Dupliquer (Duplicate) and Supprimer… (Delete…). At the top, choose the view: Bloc-notes (Notepad), Les deux (Both) or Board. Everything is saved automatically, and the Enregistré (Saved) indicator confirms it.
The notepad
Section titled “The notepad”Write as you would in a word processor. Markdown that you type is converted, for example **bold**, # title or - list.
- The toolbar offers bold, italic, headings, lists, checklists, quotes and code.
- Select some text to format it directly.
Ctrl+B,Ctrl+I,Ctrl+UandCtrl+K: bold, italic, underline and link.- The Voir le Markdown (View Markdown) icon lets you write directly in Markdown.

For an image, paste it with Ctrl+V, drag it onto the canvas, or use I. PNG, JPEG and WebP are accepted, up to 20 MiB.
- The mouse wheel moves the view,
Ctrl+ wheel zooms. - Double-clicking the background places a text.
Ctrl+Zundoes,Ctrl+Yredoes.Ctrl+D,Ctrl+C,Ctrl+XandCtrl+Vduplicate, copy, cut and paste.- The top toolbar sets the colour, the thickness and Remplir la forme (Fill the shape).
- The background is chosen for each Noteboard: Fond blanc (White background) or Fond sombre (Dark background).
The right-click menu on the background offers Nouvelle note ici (New note here), Nouveau texte ici (New text here), Ajouter une image… and Cadrer tout le contenu (Fit all the content). On an element, it offers among others Mettre au premier plan (Bring to front) and Mettre à l’arrière-plan (Send to back).
What the agents do with it
Section titled “What the agents do with it”An agent allowed to read files can read your Noteboards: the notepad, the notes and the texts, the images and the arrows. It can also be given an image of the whole board to see the layout. It cannot edit them.
To use this, simply ask: “Read the Shop Noteboard and propose a plan.”
Where it is saved, and the limits
Section titled “Where it is saved, and the limits”The notepad, the notes and the layout are in Island Pilot’s local database. The images are files in your project, in Pilot/Board/.
An image that no element uses is removed when the Noteboard is reopened.
