Where your files are
Island Pilot keeps your data in two places: your project folder and its own data folder. Knowing which one holds what helps you avoid losing work.
Two places
Section titled “Two places”| Project folder | Data folder | |
|---|---|---|
| Location | The Workspace chosen for the project | %USERPROFILE%\.island-pilot |
| Contents | Your island and the Pilot/ folder |
Conversations, agents, settings, To-Do, Noteboards, Tendances Maps (Map Trends), profile |
| Scope | One project | All projects |
| If you delete the project | Stays on disk | This project’s data is removed |
Island Pilot never deletes a project’s folder. Your keys are in neither of these places: they are in the Windows vault.
The Pilot/ folder
Section titled “The Pilot/ folder”Island Pilot creates it at the root of the project folder, and fills it as you go. You can see it in Content, in the Workspace.
